I want to share another theme with you today. This may have been one of the prettiest wedding I've been to and get this... The bride made a huge amount herself. If you are considering a barn theme and perhaps want to get more involved and create added detail yourself - this will inspire you. A DIY wedding can be a lot of work, but it’s so original and adds that personal touch.

I love the idea of a barn wedding. A barn is like a blank canvas waiting for you to stamp your style on it. Each barn has it individual character, but whatever your style, you can personalise your day to create your dream wedding
Wedding DIY Signage
The bride made hanging signs and framed sign to display around the barn. She also made the food menus, wedding guest name tags and colouring books for the children.
Light up Letters
Light up letters really have the wow factor at a wedding. There are a number of companies out there providing hire. There's even DIY guided if you're feeling very creative, like this one by Robeson Design
The Wedding Cake
How amazing is this cake? I love the pastel colours and the beautifully arranged flowers on top. They compliment each other so well.
Seat Covers and Wedding Flowers
Not everyone opts for seat covers at a wedding. I particularly like these simple chairs with the added hanging flowers. It makes a pretty alternative and suits the setting nicely. The small vases of flowers dotted around really added to the style and added colour.
Colour Palette
The soft pastel colours ran throughout the barn and the surrounding outside areas. The bride and groom really made the whole wedding personalised to them and it looked perfect.
Barn wedding are one of my favourites and if you love attention to details, a barn setting is the perfect setting for it. Remember all that detail takes time and careful planning especially if you have a DIY wedding.
