Autumn family photos at Skipton Castle wood
I met Seonaid and James for a doorstep portrait way back when Sophie was a teeny tiny newborn. They booked me for an autumn family shoot last October in Skipton Castle wood. To me, this feels like two minutes ago until I see Seonaid’s family photos on Instagram and I can’t believe how much Sophie has grown and changed. This is why photos are so important as they grow. Seonaid and James may feel Sophie was at the stage for a short time, but they will have the photos aiding their memories to cherish forever.
Why choose a Autumn family photo shoot?
It was such a joy to capture these moments. Sophie was a little star and it was lovely seeing her personality starting to show. Autumn is my favourite time of year for family photo shoots. The light is soft and golden and the colours are forever changing and pretty. If you would like an autumn family photo shoot, now is the time to book in.

Family testimonial
We had a 1 hour autumn photo shoot with our baby daughter. Gemma was able to suggest good places to capture what we wanted and was very professional and responsive. We had to rearrange the first date due to the weather and she was very understanding and was able to work around our commitments. We are both pretty camera shy and didn't want to feel awkward. I told Gemma in advance and she was fantastic, she really put us at ease and we got some lovely natural photos, some of which made lovely Christmas presents. The value for money and quality was fantastic and we will definitely be booking her again in the future. I particularly liked that we got digital copies of all of our photographs.
