I have a few friends that are getting married next year and I know they are currently mulling over ideas for their wedding themes and decorations. I have seen some amazing DIY wedding decorations, so over the next few weeks I will be blogging some of my favourite wedding themes in the hope to spread some inspiration to those brides busy scouring Pinterest and wedding magazines.

Vintage - 1940's theme

This bride and groom decorated the marquee so stylishly with a real feel of the 1940's. The tables were carefully arranged with beautiful flowers and books with a lovely vintage keepsake for each guest. They even had ration books and menu card. Real thought had gone into the theme continuity running throughout the marquee and outside. Their hard work really paid off. It looked amazing.
