2017 - The Best Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

The last couple of years I have posted an end of year blog. A round-up of some of my favourite moments from throughout the year. It's pretty time consuming, but I love looking back on all my work over the year. It's a great time to reflect. I've worked at new venues, like Oalklands in East Yorkshire and Belmount Hall In the Lake District. I travelled to Lake Garda for a beautiful wedding. Got caught up in a flood in the Lake District. Met the friendliest loved-up couples and the most doting families. I caught myself with a  ridiculous grin while search through thousands of photos to pick out for this blog. I'm smiling because they bring me such fond memories of that time and the people. I have invested in your day more than you may think. I've laughed with you, felt those heartfelt moments, my feet were eager to dance along to your favourite songs and when I hugged you goodbye at the end of the night, I didn't want to leave. Your day played over in my head as I drove home in the contrasting silence of my car and I feel like I know your friends and family through the hours editing. Your photos made me smile then and they make me smile now.

Thank you to all those couples who invited me along to share their wedding day and all those families who cared about capturing precious family moments. You made my year!

If you know anyone looking for a Yorkshire wedding photographer of relaxed family photos, give them a nudge in my direction ;)

Here are a few handpicked moments from 2017! Grab a brew and enjoy

All the best for 2018

I have to thank the brilliant staff at East Riddlesden Hall and The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate, making my job run that much smoother. My favourite venue this year goes to Oaklands wedding venue in East Yorkshire, with Bemount Hall coming in close. :)
