Kelly and James were married in the heart the Yorkshire Dales at the lovely Grassington House. Kelly and James are such a lovely couple and I so it was extra nice to photograph their wedding day as I went to school with James. I joined Kelly and her bridesmaids at Grassington house nestled on the cobbled market square in Grassington. It was a fun morning with them and Kelly was very calm and collective during the build up. James seemed slightly nervous after greeting the wedding guests in anticipation of awaiting his bride.

It was a lovely ceremony with lots of giggles and I got the feeling there was a few in-jokes going on during the readings. After their guests had congratulated the newly weds and had delicious canapes and champagne, we headed to the bridge where we scoped out during their engagement photo shoot (see their pre-wedding photo shoot here) for some photos. The speeches had a wonderful balance of heartfelt sentiment and humor that didn’t leave a cry eye in the room. The day passed by so quickly, and after a few more photos before the sun set, it was time for the partying to begin. I left the wedding reception in full swing with the room full of dancing wedding guests.
