My approach to christening photography is very similar to wedding photography. I capture the day in an unobtrusive way. It’s important to me that I document the day as it unfolds and capture the emotion and family bond. It’s so clear that Joanna has the most doting parents. She was the absolute star of the day…as she should be.
Isobel and Chris chose the beautiful St. Andrews church in the picturesque village of Gargrave to christen Joanna. The service was very lovely and Joanna didn’t make a peep, not even when it was time to wet her head with blessed water. After the christening, the celebrations continued at the Tempest Arms in Elslack. The sun was shining on this lovely family all day and I’m very happy to have captured these special moments.
