The Gamekeepers Inn, Threshfield, wedding photography
Close to the popular village of Grassington and nestled in the Yorkshire dales you’ll find the county wedding venue of the award winner Netherside suite at the Gamekeeper’s.
The Gamekeeper’s Inn in Threshfield was the perfect wedding venue for Nick and Beth. The Netherside Suite with it’s oak beams allowed them to theme their wedding centred around Bronte novels as the inspiration behind their décor and wedding location. Nick grew up in North Yorkshire and has family ties in Threshfield so the Gamekeeper’s Inn was just right for them.
I arrive at the Gamekeeper’s for Bridal preparation. It was was a very peaceful and quiet start to an amazing day that flowed so easily.
I adored Beth’s wedding dress by Mimosa from Rogue Gallery York. A Silhouette A Line dress with three-quarter sleeves and beautiful geometrical embroideries that added a balance to the simple sheathe skirt. She opted for a wedding bouquet of dry flowers with muted tones adding feather and pampa grass detail. Both her wedding dress and flowers fitted perfectly with the country Bronte themed wedding.
Their wedding ceremony took place at St Michael’s Parish in Linton. It’s a very beautiful church inside and out and the location makes it that much more special. The rolling North Yorkshire hills made for perfect wedding photos after a ceremony of heartfelt readings and the all important wedding vows.
I loved that their son and daughter played such a big part in their day.

The speeches went down a storm, with three best men reciting stories form Nick’s younger days, leaving Nick a little embarrassed, but the room full of laughter.
The Gamekeeper’s Inn has a few hidden gem locations on site, which are perfect for wedding photography and an opportunity for a little breather alone. I always give couples this option for more photos just before the wedding reception starts and I’m so glad Nick and Beth chose to follow my lead for some lovely evening wedding photos.
After the first dance, Nick and his brother kicked off the party with some awesome music from their band. They got everyone on the dance floor and the party really started.
Nick and Beth, thank you so much for having me as your Yorkshire wedding photographer.
If you are getting married at a North Yorkshire wedding venue or looking for wedding photography at the Gamekeep’s Inn, I would love to hear from you.
