2016 - The Best Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

2016! Everyone's thinking it. Not the best year for losing some of our most creative and talented heroes. Internationally terrifying events have occurred and I do find myself wondering, what the heck is going on in this world we live in. I've heard people say it's been the worst year ever, and it's easy to look at the devastated people across nations and agree, but is that helpful? Looking back and thinking what a terrible year won't change it. Now, I'm not one for New Year's resolutions, but to move forward with a positive attitude is the plan. While 2016 was terrible in a lot of ways, lets take the good from it. I'm choosing to remember the happy moments, and to be grateful for the lovely people I've met. I'm thankful that I get to do the job that I truly love. One that can be stressful, but one that makes me smile when thinking back on the day I've had doing it. The days might be long, but they are Oh so worth it. It is worth pushing my creativity and going that extra mile to get 'that' photo. It is simply an honour to share a couple's wedding day with them. It is the best thing, to meet new families from little pockets of Yorkshire and beyond while photographing moments they'll cherish in years to come. You people are what made my 2016 a great one. Thank you to each and every one of you. The support from you, my family and friends, means more than you can imagine.

Here's to you.
