At the end of August, it was my absolute pleasure to document the wedding of Lisa and John at Monk Fryston Hall. They are such a warm, friendly couple that make you feel welcome in an instant. We had great weather for the bank weekend and the day was just perfect from start to finish. I started my day with the ladies for bridal prep. Here's a few of how their day unfolded.
With 30 acres of garden, Monk Fryston Hall is a stunning location for wedding photography. We explored the grounds pretty well during their engagement photo shoot, so although we were spoiled for choice, Lisa and John had their favourite spots.
I love hearing back stories and how my couples meet and Lisa and John's story is so sweet. It reminds me of a romantic movie, you don't think these stories happen in real life. They prove it does! They were childhood sweethearts and Lisa even knew at the age of 11 that she wanted to marry John. It was just meant to be!
If you have ever made a speech, you know how much pressure it is. But these speeches were spot on, with good stories provoking tears and laughter.
John and Lisa, thank you so much for letting me be part for your special day. You and your guests were a joy to photograph and spend the day with. :D
