Mark and Donna booked me as their Yorkshire wedding photographer in 2020. I finally got to meet them in person for their pre-wedding photo shoot. They brought their dog, Lexie; which I was obviously thrilled about (I love when dogs join the shoot) I am also thrilled to hear she’ll be present on their wedding day too. I suggested a golden hour photo shoot for Mark and Donna’s engagement session. They can be a little tricky to organise as it can requires last minute rearranging depending on the weather. They were keen for this and flexible so it worked out well. For a golden hour photo shoot you need the sun to be out the last hour before sunset. The light is really soft and there’s lots of yellow and and more earthy tones. We headed to Cowling Pinnacle in North Yorkshire. They walk their dog their regularly and the scenery is lovely.
