Engagement Photography in North Yorkshire

Golden hour engagement photos at Cowling Pinnacle

I met Millie and Tom just one hour before sunset for a golden hour engagement photo session. During this time, the light becomes soft, golden, and incredibly pretty, creating the perfect colours for photographs. Cowling Pinnacle is the perfect location for capturing the essence of golden hour, as it sits high above Sutton and Cowling receiving the sunshine and offers some truly lovely and expansive views of the surrounding landscape of North Yorkshire.

Engagement sessions are a chance to go where you like and do what you want. Unlike your wedding, this session can be totally dictated by you. Usually wedding day portraits have to be dictated by the schedule of the wedding day and obviously the location. Millie and Tom decided on a golden hour engagement photoshoot, and we was able to plan this by looking ahead at the forecast. It does take a bit of flexibility as the weather doesn’t always play ball. I’m really glad Millie and Tom held out for a sunny evening to get these golden hour photos.

Millie and Tom are having a split wedding. Meaning their Skipton wedding ceremony will be later this month and there wedding reception to follow next year. Mille and Tom wanted a festival style reception, so I can not wait for that.

Engagement photos taken at Cowling Pinnacle in North Yorkshire provide a stunning backdrop for couples looking to capture their love story. The breathtaking landscapes and picturesque views create an ideal setting and it’s my number 1 place to photograph a golden hour engagement photoshoot in North Yorkshire.
